After breakfasting on curry, we hire a scooter and drive north from Thongsala to Ao Mae Hat. The beach is beautiful and we have a delicious lunch at the resorts restaurant - where we find the waitresses and masseurs sleeping on the floor, in hammocks and reading newspapers - before moving onto the fine sands of Coconut Beach.
